📍 Student Apartment “Marienheim”

Address: Oberer Sand 12–18, 94032 Passau

Overview:

The Marienheim residence consists of four buildings with a total of:

  • 21 single apartments (20 – 52 m²)

  • 16 double apartments (40 – 70 m²)

Located in the historic old town of Passau, Marienheim is just a 5-minute walk from the University. The nearby Inn promenade offers a perfect spot to relax after classes.

Apartment Features:

  • Bed with mattress

  • Writing desk, wardrobe, coat rack

  • Kitchenette with 2 hotplates or 4 hobs (some with oven) and refrigerator

  • Private bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower or bathtub

  • Some apartments include a balcony or terrace

  • Digital TV reception via fiber optic

  • Internet access available (contract must be arranged separately by the tenant)

Common Facilities:

  • Shared community room on the 1st floor for social activities

  • Laundry room with washing machines and dryers (coin-operated)

  • Two large bike storage rooms, garbage room, and laundry area on the ground floor

Rent:

Due to the diversity in size and layout, there is no fixed rent price.
💶 Monthly rent ranges between €200 and €550, depending on apartment size and furnishings.

Address: Schönleitnerweg 10–24, 94036 Passau

Overview:

Haus St. Severin consists of eight buildings with a total of:

  • 148 single apartments

  • 12 double apartments

Located in a quiet area overlooking the River Inn, it is about 2 km west of the University of Passau.

Accessibility:

  • 20 minutes on foot to the university

  • 10 minutes by bicycle

  • Bus stop nearby

  • Less than 5 minutes by car

  • On-site car parking available

Apartment Features:

  • Size: approx. 16 m²

  • Bed, desk with chair, wardrobe

  • Private bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower

  • Balcony or terrace

  • Digital TV reception

  • Internet access included (no extra cost)

➡️ Kitchenette available in all double apartments and in 12 selected single apartments.

Shared Kitchen & Facilities:

Each floor includes a shared kitchen for 7–8 residents, equipped with:

  • Electric stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator

  • Cabinets, tables, and chairs

Additional facilities:

  • Large glass pavilion as a social and leisure space

  • Communal washing machines, dryers, and storage rooms

Rent:

💶 Monthly rent ranges from €260 to €290

Apartments are allocated via waiting list. Early application is strongly advised.
